A World Class reunion would be tremendous in the northeast.

I would think that a WCCW reunion would have to have names like Kevin VE, Jimmy Garvin, One Man Gang, Midnight Express, Missy Hyatt etc to draw and be profitable. Too many of the big stars are gone for it to a legit reunion. Having said that I would say YES to Iceman Parsons and Al Perez.

A World Class reunion would be tremendous in the northeast. I went one with Gary Hart, Skandar Akbar and Bill Irwin that didn't draw at all in the Northeast but looking back...I am very happy I went.

unless its WWF related or high level AWA or NWA guys
Territory guys ARE NOT Profitable.. maybe 1 at a time to add to a superticket.
EXTRA merchandise is the key to success...

Very Very small percentage of fans who really appreciate this era and would pony up for it.. NOT ENOUGH for it to be worthwhile to attempt..
TRUST US... I know from experience..

Oh well. I grew up watching Legends of World Class Wrestling at 4 PM on ESPN everyday after school. I loved both the Kevin Von Erich and WWE DVDs that did documentaries on it. It was great stuff.
Someone suggested it. I said yes. If people would rather pony up $100 for an autograph of Sting... more power to you. It certainly won't be me.

We already had Kevin Von Erich. people balked at the 25.00 per.. price tag.. Oh well. That was their chance...

I'd go for guys like KVE (didn't go first time), and the guys who went mainstream (Garvin, Freebirds, Gang, Express, etc...), but a majority of the guys listed I would pass on. I'd likely get Embree, Parsons and Dundee.
I think these guys could be decent one at a time...there are alot of wccw fans....but a large group of them wouldn't be too popular as a majority of the attendees probably didn't follow more then wwf and nwa/awa in the 80s

Looking at how the crowd at the events has changed over the past couple years, a lot of the "old school" fans have finished and moved on, and the people that come now are marking out over the WWE/WWF guys. I for one would love a WCCW or AWA reunion, but I know I would be in the minority and most of the current attendees wouldn't know who anyone was. And, as T said, there is so little merchandise for these guys that besides an 8x10 or magazine cover, there isn't much to get signed.

But I'm glad LOTR still stays loyal to us who still go and give us a old school name. I love the old school guys. My brother loves them even more...he was very excited to meet Paul Vachon for example. To each their own but LOTR has to do what's best for business. If these names drew more money, there would be 15 of them every show.
